I highly recommend this for swimming if you're looking for a lower cost alternative to the bluetooth/wireless type of earphones. It uses a standard 3.5mm jack to connect your earphones and actually contains an internal connection inside the Dry Pak to insure water can't get in. They must have changed manufacturers or specs, because now (I tried THREE) the hole for the ear-buds is covered by the sealing membrane, rending the whole thing USELESS and unusable. The earbuds fell apart in my hands.
