The timing was excellent, and even though the prison didn't allow the inmate to keep it, they shipped it back to me so I know that the product was exactly as described. I wanted to be sure the mala was fragrant enough, and you could smell the sandalwood even through the zip lock bag, so it was perfect. Too bad the inmate couldn't keep it, but now I have an awesome sandalwood mala! :) Thank you! ### ⭐ Worst Mala ever!! *by M***N on November 14, 2013* I for the price I paid for this product I am very dissatisfied with, the packaging was horrible. It came in a big envelope with barely no protection inside and so some of the beads were broken, then I put it on for like twenty minutes and it started falling apart, mind you that I bought it for meditation and had not even used it yet. Not even four days after I got it, it broke apart, so I just lost my money. Please do not buy from this seller, the product is a bust, very, very unhappy. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Ohhhh where to begin... *by R***E on March 18, 2013* - The difference between 7mm beads and 8mm beads may not seem remarkable, but it's the difference between whether a mala can be looped 4 times around an adult wrist or not. These are most certainly 7mm beads.- This was strung on poor quality string.- The frizzy tassle - NO. (However, I was planning on needing to remove this anyhow, judging from the pictures on Amazon.)- The part of the end cap bead was chipped off.- This came with 110 beads, including the guru bead. Which would be make sense if there were spacers at 36 and 72, but it does not make sense to have a spacer of the same type of bead.- Despite what it left to be desired, the beads were of uniform size, good quality, and do have sandalwood scent.The first thing I did was cut out the strings and restrung it onto a thick wax string, with red coral spacers and a 12mm piece of turquoise and a red coral spacer in place of the wooden end cap. It took some doing, but I was eventually able to muscle this onto my wrist. All in all, it ended up okay.
