These trainers were an excellent investment. The trainer is very well built, sturdy and stable (I am 6' 5" and weigh well over 200 lbs). It has been used regularly for a year with my mountain bike and works as well today as the day I received it. It was easy to setup and it is easy to remove and replace the bike if I decide to ride outside. I check the tension adjustment on the trainer weekly using the knob on the trainer and vary the resistance during the daily workouts with the shifters on by bike. It provides a great workout (I have significantly improved my physical condition and lost 30 pounds). The trainer is fairly quiet, but I replaced the lugged mountain bike tire with a nearly treadless road tire to reduce the noise level to the point that I can ride early or late in the day with out disturbing those who are sleeping in the bedrooms over the basement. This also prevents the tread on the rear mountain bike tire from wearing out. I added a tablet holder to the handlebar on my wife's bike for her Kindle and a smartphone holder to mine to select navigate my Amazon Prime music playlists. This helped make the daily workouts more palatable. This trainer should meet the needs of all but the most demanding cyclists. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great trainer! *by D***E on October 27, 2012* I bought this trainer based on the reviews and it has truly lived up to the comments. This trainer was so each to use, is stable and works great. It is on the loud side, not enough to scare my dog, I do have knobby tires, not mountain bike knobby, but Comfort bike knobby. For the price compared to other trainers, it works great. Don't let the low price (compared to most) deter you, it is well built, I use mine every day. For those on a budget, this is a great purchase. I'm 5'9 and weigh 235 so if you're concerned about weight limit, this gives you an idea. With the riser included, makes it even better. It saved me another few bucks. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Built well, great bang for the buck. *by G***Y on October 29, 2013* I just got into to cycling last in the season, and didn't want to stop when the weather got cold. After seeing the prices of trainers in retail stores, I decided to search amazon. I bought this based on reviews, and the fact that the front wheel holder and skewer were included. It arrived well packaged, and there really isn't any assembly. Just swap the skewer in the rear wheel and you are set. Took me about 5 minutes to set up, and it's built sturdy. I'm a 200lb guy and this did not rock or flex at all under off the seat climb training. The only negative is the resistance is a little too light to give a true road feel. However it's plenty enough in the bigger gears on my bike to get the legs burning. Very happy with the purchase, would recommend to any entry level enthusiast. Experienced Cyclist and those looking for some intense training might want to look else where for more resistance. Surprisingly very quiet with smooth road tire. I was worried about noise but it's a non issue.
