This was purchase so I could connect a USB 3.0 keyboard/mouse and Ethernet cable though only the USB-C port without having to constantly plug in and out all the connections, when switching between desk work and working on my sofa.This has functioned perfectly over the last few months and I've experienced no issues with connective at all or drives having to be reinstalled.I've also used the this for HDMI connection when used with a work laptop which didn't have an HDMI port and it handled using all the ports with no issue.So if you require a USB-C hub to connect two USB 2/3 devises and get the benefit of an Ethernet internet connection for your laptop.
