Called in our regular Electritian. Upon opening the base of lamp, found out **NO SOLDERING**. So, we did the soldering where the switch is. Still flickering. Found out **HOLDER WAS NOT CONNECTED PROPERLY**..fixed it, then he connected to back to wall plug, while removing he got proper 220V **ELECTRICUTED** and threw him out. Injuring him. This was worst shock for him in 20 years of service. Cheap cables, not connectes well, bad connections its not even worth buying. Should not be in market. Its DANGEROUS TO LIFE!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice base, but costly compared to quality. *by S***K on Reviewed in India on 24 January 2018* The best part of the lamp is its small base which makes it highly economic in terms of desk area. The base might be small but the lamp is totally stable.The lamp seems sturdy and there are no loose fitting parts.But the one I received had minute holes and scratches on the aluminium cup covering the holder. As I was more concerned about its functionality, which it serves well over its cosmetic appeal, I didn't apply for a replacement.Talking about safety, the wires connecting the switch are twisted instead of being soldered which makes it a bit unsafe but since the base is of totally plastic material it should be ok.The overall quality is substandard compared to its price of ₹435.The bulb provided is a joke. It is a cool white led which has a 8-watt rating but is less bright than a regular 8-watt cfl. I replaced it immediately as it was a pain to the eye. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ VALUE FOR MONEY,BRIGHT, GOOD FOR READING *by G***S on Reviewed in India on 25 November 2018* Usually i dont write product reviews but this may help u guys know about this study lamp.. so this is quite bright u can perfectly use this for reading.. this lamp supports led bulbs till 7 Watts. The parcel which i recived with the box consisted of a 10 W bulb which was not working so i had to use my own 7 W led bulb which is very bright... this lamp is better then those recharable led lamps as they are not very good for reading.. this has 2 pen holders and is light in weight u can also move the head accordingly .. i m giving this 4 stars as the led bulb they provided was not working and i cant replace the whole lamp just cause of it!!
