This year we've had a very high infestation of mosquitoes in our surrounding and decided to try this citronella oil as it was good value for money. For the past 2 months using it every evening from 5-7pm and have consumed about 40g of the oil from the total of 100g. I use about half a cap of the oil for 300ml of water and that lasts me about 4-5 days before I need to refill the diffuser. The mosquito invasion has definitely been almost zero since we're using it. So it does work. The fragrance is mild and sweetish, unlike the other citronella concentrated oils I've used before. So I feel that it might be mixed with other oils to increase the volume. Have reduced a star for that. The good part is cause its not absolutely concentrated, the fragrance doesn't last too long after I've turned off the diffuser, which for us is a good thing cause I don't want my house constantly having the fragrance of citronella.All said, for the price point and particular application of anti repellant to mosquitoes, I think it's doing a good job and will definitely order it again. I sometimes add a few drops of concentrated lavender oil when I want a change in fragrance.
