Honestly I knew this wouldn’t be an extremely difficult project but really wasn’t sure the differences between the products without actually seeing them or seeing the install. Once I was able to narrow down the products that worked best for my project I got started and ran in to a small issue mainly due to lack of knowledge of the variations of the products. I reached out to the vendor and received a quick phone call back to help trouble shoot. I simply inserted this into my drill to install it into the deck post. Then I inserted my cable and used a crimping tool to lock in the cable. I initially tried a smaller plier-like crimper that was insufficient. A larger set up crimpers that look similar to hedge clippers did the trick.
