Our first was a beginner foam long board from Costco. We thought it was time to move down to a shorter board and we saw this board on sale at Amazon so we gave it a try. After bringing the board to the beach and in the ocean three times, the plastic skin of the board started to separate from the core. Now on the top and bottom of the board, there are very large ripples on the surface of the board. I am not an experienced enough surfer to know if this will impact the performance of the board but we have not used it since the rippling occurred. Added a few pictures so you can see.
