    Skating Again

    These skates are good for beginners.  I bought them cause I wanted to get back into skating but didn't know where to start.  I'm also about looks(petty, I know) and I like the was these looked good plus the price was good.  SO I bought them.  They skate just fine.  The wheels are wide and can help you with balance.  The con about that(wheels) is they are so wide that it makes it difficult to just turn on a dime or when you are leaning into a turn, they will not go around a bend easily.  The wheels also have slight groves in them and pick up a lot of dirt/crap in them making them hard to keep clean.  This also hurt you when your trying to roll around the rink since the build up in the grooves hinders your roll.  The skates are kinda heavy but I changed out the wheels for some roller bones wheels and bearings ( they are a dream to skate on, in love with them ).  After making some modifications on the skates/wheels I am in love with these skates.  But after the money I invested on the wheels/bearings it triple my skates price and I probably could have bought different skates.  Sizing:  I normally wear a size 8 in women and bought these skates in a 7 and they fit perfectly.  Not loose or tight at all.  Overall I like them and enjoy skating in them every week.

    They're roomy but not so much that I'd go down on size. Really have nothing bad to report. The problems I've experienced are more due to me being old, fat and out of shape. I'm working at it slowly to get better. I used to live rollerskating as a kid. Hope I can get back to that level of confidence and freedom.

    These skates are perfect! I am a size 8 so I ordered a 7 and they fit perfectly with enough room to move my toes freely! The wheels run smooth and the shoe gives enough support for my ankles to stay stabilized. These skates are perfect for beginners (which is me!) and I would definitely recommend them to anyone!:)
