It contains a little bit of most of what you need to make jewelry with including some thread and charms. There is a variety of sizes and shapes on the beads, so you could use this as a basic set to make what you need without buying extras to go along with it if you wanted to. The crystals are mostly on the small side. They don't have a strong ab effect, but you can see a flash here and there. I'm using them mostly as accents, and not the main stones. The beads feel like they are glass and metal, not plastic. Better quality. I took a bunch of close-up pictures for you, as well as a shot of the charms that came in my kit (I do not know if they put the exact same charms in every kit).
