Both ways look good, and the varying heights really gives an awesome feel. You can buy two sets and then stack high on both left and right to provide a stadium type feel, which is what I intend on doing in my cubicle. The only con is the seam on the back - but since these are same in front and back, it doesn't make much of a difference unless you have a 360 viewing cabinet. I hope this answers your question. I use them for my kotobukiya figures which have a 4 inch base just to give you another point of reference! **Q: Would a Pop Funko Figurine fit on them?** A: That’s exactly what I use the for displaying! They’re a perfect size for Funko Pops. **Q: I see a total of 6 risers. What is the diameter of each riser?** A: Measure 4 1/8" diagonally. **Q: Description states it is leatherette but what's beneath the leatherette covering?** A: I am guessing very light fiber board possibly plastic. They are light weight. I use them to display custom rings and never put any thing heavy on them. They would get top heavy quick if you put something heavy/tall on them especially the taller ones. If you want a solid heavy base these aren’t the answer.
