The included wall sleeve is flimsy — I made a sturdier one from PVC pipe instead. Line Set & Tools Despite being “pre-charged,” you must cut and flare the copper lines to match your install length. A tube cutter and flaring tool are essential. You’ll need to evacuate the lines and indoor unit, and since my gauge set was R-134a, I had to get an adapter to fit the R-410a service port.
