It has blocked the low power card key at a hotel I stayed in on vacation. However, the high power card key I use at my church building is not blocked. I will also note that the elastic band holding the plates together broke within the first month. The hard edge of one of the plates cut it, apparently. I have fixed this by using a section of bicycle inner tube. **Q: Is this the new version of nite ize multi tool wallet. I mean is the band more thicker?** A: It's still garbage **Q: Can you get a replacement band?** A: Thank you for your question. We do not have replacement bands available for individual sale. I have yet to really test if it's working or not but still a peace of mind when traveling locally or internationally. would say 4 cards maybe 5 at the most as the rubber band that is around the steel pieces is very tight. not super difficult to remove that one card you use all the time as there is a decent sized cut out on one piece that is part of the protractor/angle guide. this has 10 tools but also keep in mind the other side of each piece is blank if you were wondering if it's possible to flip these. while the edges don't feel sharp the long sections on the other side of the rubber band on both pieces feel like they would give you a minor cut if you slipped your fingers too fast.
