Also my nesting boxes were always nasty and stinking from the egg yolk. These boxes work like a charm. I have been using them for approx. a month. I have only one or two eggs broken a week, (because I have persistent hens ) but the yolk slides through the holes in the bottom and no mess to clean up. All of my eggs come out clean in the tray. I would highly recommend these boxes for anyone with the same problem. ### ⭐ Absolute flimsy garbage DO NOT BUY *by E***. on October 19, 2019* Purchased 4 units in spring of 2019, assembled ok. Pieces needing to be bent back into place by hand should have been my first clue that these are too flimsy. Assembly process is ok. Hung them in coop and was thrilled at first. My hens took to them quickly. But then I started finding one tray unhooked from the back and tipped forward...with broken eggs inside. Thinking it was a one off, I replaced the tray double checking that is has engaged with a click in the front and back. The next day, same thing. Next week it was two trays, and overtime all of them with some even falling onto the floor. I have different pens for my hens for different breeds. I don’t have any extra large breeds (like Orpington or brahmas). Some are even small lightweight breeds. I took a box down, I checked that screws were tightened etc all is ok. What isn’t ok is the strength of the metal when met with the leverage created by a hen jumping up onto the green roosting portion. It causes the back lip to lift, the front lip to lift and the side tracks to lift all allowing the tray to disengage and tip forward or even fall out. Eventually the whole thing is worthless. I contacted the sellers, who basically drug things out asking questions, then asking for pictures, then asking for videos, all to tell me too bad I must not have it assembled right. I am NOT the only one with this experience. The seller is simply reselling a product they are not making. Other amazon vendors are now selling this same product and have the same issue noted in reviews. I now have four worthless triple nesting boxes and am out the money. Oh, and all the broken eggs caused by the trays tipping resulted in my hens becoming egg eaters! Please please buy a different product. (I dislike leaving bad reviews. I gave the sellers ample opportunity to remedy the situation with a part or something, but they refused.) ### ⭐⭐ Compartments too small *by W***I on June 27, 2019* I am regretting this purchase. The item is flimsy and the trays do not securely stay in place. Chickens will get on the green purch to enter the box and it tips and falls out. The individual boxes are too small for my full size chickens. It has to be hung up to have the proper angle to roll out properly. The box has an open back so we have to hang a piece of plywood on the chicken wire to make it private enough for the chickens.
