Review: Works Great for Clone Hero on PC - I recommend this product if you want to play Clone Hero with a Wii Les Paul Guitar Hero guitar! I bought this converter for the Les Paul guitar. It works perfectly. And it was really fun! I’m not sure which other Wii accessories are compatible with the connector, but this guitar performs perfectly with the product. The only downside is that the whammy bar doesn’t register on Clone Hero, but everything else works like a charm. I’m quite satisfied with my purchase! Overall, I'd recommend this product!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Can I use this for clone hero?**
A: It did work for me using CH v0.23.2.2.  I did have to manually map the buttons within CH.  Whammy does not work unless I wasn't able to find the correct axis.  I couldn't get it to respond to whammy, even in the Windows controller test panel.  One workaround that did work was to use the direction stick, but it's a bit awkward.

**Q: Does this work for clone hero?**
A: Unfortunately the one i got didnt, it may have worked for an earlier version of CH, but i didnt work for me. Acai and UKOG should have links on their youtube vids for the adapter they use.

**Q: Will this work with nes classic controller**
A: After a little research, I found that any controller/ device can work with this as long as it has a matching plugin

**Q: For me the adapter says its plugged in but it is rapidly saying it is pressing "button 0" anyone know why this is?**
A: its just registering a button that isnt on the controller these do not work for guitars for this reason

### ⭐ Does not work for Wiitars for Clone Hero

Does not work for Wiitars for Clone Hero. I've tried two of these. The first one arrived damaged (see photo) in badly damaged packaging. I could not even try to plug the Wiitar into the cable because it arrived with the port damaged badly. The second one was undamaged upon arrival and the packaging was perfectly fine, but the cable does not work. The laptop recognizes that something was plugged into a USB port, but the game does not recognize that it is a guitar controller and the guitar also can't be mapped as the buttons do not register at all when pressed. I tried it with two separate Wiitars and two separate laptops. Don't buy these. Buy Raphnet ones.
