I was curious to see how they would hold up to constant wear. They held up great. I bought these boots in the camel color. They look just like the picture. To play it safe, I rounded up a half size. This was unnecessary--- I found these boots run slightly big. There is more than ample space for big calves. I think these might be too wide for really thin legs. They are incredibly comfortable for such a high heal.Update 2/13-- i just bought another pair in black. The heal is the same height as the other pair--but the length of the boot leg is more than one inch longer. It's very high and hits just below the knee in an unflattering place. The old boots have aged well. I live in them and they look and feel terrific. It's too bad that this 'same' pair is not the same at all. They are going to look good with pants, skirts, dresses and the right wool or corduroy shorts!
