It was well packed and instructions were super simple to understand. The board we received was 4C, not 4B but looked the same all the way around and was a complete fit. While the new board didn't solve the issue with very short range of the remote garage door opener, I am still glad I purchased it since as I found out the old board had a break in one spot and it's a good thing I replaced it, eliminating potential issues down the road. The culprit turned out to be an LED bulb the previous owner installed in place of incandescent bulb on the garage door opener itself. Apparently, the LED bulb operates at frequencies dangerously close to those of the garage door opener. Replacing the LED bulbs with regular ones solved the problem - I got this from a youtube video. I can now open the garage door from 60-70 feet away. Overall, we are impressed with quality and super fast delivery. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finally Found The Cure! *by S***S on May 24, 2015* Fast delivery, works perfectly! I just wish I could have back all the the years of frustration and the hours wasted on the phone with Liftmaster tech support. I don't want to call them idiots because some of them really tried to be helpful, but they were essentially clueless. When my garage door opener finally got so unreliable that I unplugged it and started looking in earnest for a replacement I basically stumbled upon a couple of YouTube videos that showed me that my problems were far from unique and easily remedied. This part was easily installed in minutes with only a screwdriver and a nut driver. Now my garage door opener is good as new and I saved a whole lot of money. If you have gotten so far as to be shopping for this part you have got the problem licked...just hope you didn't waste as much time and energy as I did trying to get answers from Liftmaster. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cheaper than buying and easier than buying and installing a whole new opener. *by K***F on December 22, 2018* For the longest time I didn't understand why my garage door didn't open properly. Then I googled for a new opener and came across this board. That led me to suspect that my board went bad. So instead of buying a whole new opener and hiring someone to install it for me, I bought this board, replaced it myself and now my opener works fine. Saved me a lot of money! My garage door opener is probably about 10 years old. My guess is that vibration caused by the opening and closing action must have weakened and damaged some electronics and their solder joints over time.
