I'm hoping that this thin coating doesn't flake off all over the place after 10 or so cleans in the washing machine, which has happened with other bath and pedestal mats I've acquired in the past with similar finishes. I ordered white, the mats are not brilliant white, more what I would call ivory white. They look nice in my bathroom. They have an embossed slightly silky type finish and a thin rubberised base. They are a perfect size for a small bathroom.The bath mat is 45 x 79.5 and the pedestal mat is 49.5 x 41 (cms). I will have to wait and see how well they stand up to being laundered.
