Never could I have done that with a metal knife. And a plastic knife would break. This "knife" is very substantial so I was able to apply a lot of pressure with NO issues. Besides that, it's simply a beautiful "knife" because of its olive wood and its gorgeous pattern. Finally, why do I keep referring to it as a "knife", between quotes? Because it's not really a knife.
