I originally wanted more of an emerald green but this cover is such a pretty green (darker, less blue than a true emerald) that I didn’t even care that it wasn’t exactly what I wanted. The zipper closure seems sturdy. I’ve had the cover for about six months now and it doesn’t seem to be wearing out from all the times I’ve washed it. It’s sooo soft even without fabric softener and I love that the inside has ties to secure it to an insert. I'm not sure if it shrunk after the first wash, but it barely goes down the sides of our bed (a standard king size mattress).I wish there was a bigger size we could exchange it for, because otherwise it would be just what I was looking for. Overall quality seems pretty good for the price. I would compare the feel to a set of nice jersey sheets; it's thin but still comfy as long as you have a quality fluffy duvet insert inside.
