The colours are bright and cheerful. Not dull and boring like some of the other ones I've seen on here. The shapes are kind of strange to include in this set, but no big deal as my daughter doesn't seem to mind. These stick well on all the iron/steel surfaces I've tried so far. Refrigerator door, chest freezer, front door, etc. My daughter especially loves the chest freezer. It's like a blank slate for her. This set is also constructed in a way where the magnet covers the entire back surface. This allows the foam to stay attached without slowing sliding down.
