Bought at a price drop of 10USD.The GOOD: the glow is amazing! Think of the two options as bright white full moon glow OR a yellowish harvest moon glow. Both are beautiful and bright and the kiddos love having it on to help them sleep. This is cordless and has a simply touch receptor for on/off, yellow/white light. It will shut off on it's own after about 2 hours and the charge lasts a few days, after which, you must plug in to a regular USB wall adaptor using the cord provided. The base is easy to assemble and really a bit of design genius in its simplicity. The texture on the outer construction design is fantastic, lending the light a truly realistic look to it.The BAD: The touch receptor is technically on the bottom--the moon is weighted such that it sits easiest that way, though you could rotate it a bit so that the small eraser size touch point is more easily accessible. NOTE however, that this will likely change the glow pattern slightly. A charging cord IS included, but a USB wall plus is NOT. While this isn't a huge problem, I prefer to have dedicated plugs for devices and this means I have to generally make a point to move this item downstairs every few days for charging.I really am a bit jealous that my kiddos get to have this in their room...might have to buy another. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is so much better than you can imagine *by A*** on June 17, 2018* If you are thinking about buying this, do it. It's gorgeous and everyone who sees it is in love. I want one for me.I purchased this for my 6 year old's birthday - he's currently obsessed with the solar system.It comes in a beautiful gift box, which I didnt expect. Not exactly what you'd give a 6 year old boy, but a very pretty box to give an adult without wrapping.Of course when you open the box, it looks pretty lame, he thought it was just some white ball. The magic is when you turn it on, and you realize what it is you're holding.The switch is a simple tap to turn on, tap to switch between white or yellow (soft white) color, and hold to dim and brighten. The charging port is next to the switch (cable included, but ac plug is not).The moon comes with a little wooden stand that pushes together easily, and while just a simple angle of wood actually looks quite elegant and does the job.The moon itself is gorgeous. The details are perfect since its a 3D printed object.We use it as a night light mostly and I'm not certain if it has an auto off timer or if the battery is just going out. We get about 2 nights between charges but I'm sure we'd get much more if I didn't leave it on to run for hours at a time.It's super portable and a nice little light to pack away for overnight trips.It's been dropped a few times already and still looks and works fine, thought I'd try to be careful with it.It's very light. Think large ping pong ball. And you'll get the idea of the material.One of the neatest things has been watching him show it off to his grandparents, who are at first obviously unimpressed by yet another ball to "oohs" and "aahs" when he turns it on to reveal what it actually is.This little last minute gift is easily the favorite that will last him a long time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Coolest nightlight EVER! *by S***N on October 14, 2017* Bought this for my 8 yr old since I hates a dark room. This is an awesome night light! The touch sensor button is cool too - no button or switches to ruin the moon look! Goes high to low if you keep your finger on the button and if you tap the button it goes high, low and amber. Nice and bright on the brightest setting and the amber gives a great ambient lighting. He even uses it to walk around with - it’s bright enough to lighten the hall way to walk to the bathroom. Very happy with this purchase!!
