    They simply didn't work.

Dunno what happened, I install them, separate rooms, they both failed, the app didn't know when they were off, I couldn't.I tried reaching they support center, but is useless, the normal ones, one way, the worked like a charm, that why I choose this, but I'm returning it now, choose another 3 way, there is one who claims, you can split it too...Also, loose connections, even is next to the rourter, 5 feet away from it...so it's defectiveAlso they promise you a gift, but when you claim it, they don't even answer...that's a big fat lie.Thanks...

Easy to install and get running; enough for two rooms.

I wanted to control the lights in a room that uses a three way switch so this was my choice. The switches were packaged nicely and came with the wire nuts included for hookup. Also, wire labels were supplied, so the existing connections could be clearly marked. The wires were tinned, making the connections solid and the physical size of the switch fit comfortably in the standard box. After hook-up, the switch should be manually tested to verify connection, then screwed into the box.By following the very clear instructions supplied, setup into the application went without any issues.TIP: The wire-nuts just fit 2 wires; Normally (and in my case) you will probably need some of them for 3 wires, so make sure you have some bigger wire-nuts handy before you are in the middle of your project...(that's the only reason for only 4 stars... just a little bit bigger wire-nuts would have been 5 stars)Walt S.

Sounds great, looks great, doesn't work

I bought this 2-pack of Treatlife 3-way Smart Light Switches to allow me to control two separate 3-way circuits in my house. I returned the product within a few days because (1) it doesn't work like it's advertised, and (2) I got ZERO response from Treatlife support when I reached out.PROS: the product and packaging looks excellent - great instructions, looks like a quality product with excellent outward build quality, and it's a lot cheaper than similar devices from WEMO or TP-LinkCONS: it doesn't work. I installed each switch, and verified that they were electrically functional (working correctly as 3-way switches). These switches have an indicator LED ring on the switch that is meant to light-up white when the circuit is off, and turn off when the circuit is on - after install, this indicator LED worked as expected. I then proceeded to configure the switches using the Smart Life app. As soon as the devices were recognized and added to the app, the app proceeded to push a firmware update to each switch, after which the white indicator LED stopped working - it no longer lit up when the circuit was switched off. I then tried to use the app to turn the switch on/off, and discovered that the app and switch were almost always out of sync - the app would think the switch was on when it was off, and vice versa. Sometimes, each switch would require THREE clicks to turn the lights on. To top it off, neither Amazon Alexa nor Google Home could control the switches reliably - same issue as the Smart Life app, out of sync with the state of the device, but Alexa refused to accept voice commands even though the devices were recognized in the app, and Google Home would only respond to OFF commands, not ON commands (oddly enough, asking Google to turn the switch OFF when it was already OFF would cause it to turn ON). As a whole, the experience was very disappointing. But the real kicker is after-sale support... Treatlife doesn't have a website, doesn't appear to have a Twitter account, and the only apparent avenue of support is email. If you provide feedback in the Smart Life app, they ask you to email them, but they never responded to my email. As bad as Belkin's WEMO support is, at least you get to speak to a person. It's a shame really - this looks like a very nice product, it's well-marketed (on Amazon), excellent packaging, priced competitively, but it fails in execution and post-sales support. I see that many people have had luck with this product, but not me. I'm going back to WEMO - they cost more, their app is horribly slow, but they work.ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: these Treatlife switches use a cloud platform called TUYA to register users and control the devices. Last year I purchased FEIT Smart WiFi LED bulbs at Costco, and FEIT also uses this TUYA platform. When I configured those FEIT bulbs last year, I used email address X and phone number Y to register. When I configured these Treatlife switches, I also used email address X and phone number Y to register. Doing this PLAYS HAVOC with Amazon Alexa. When Alexa tries to discover the new devices, and talks to the TUYA services, both sets of devices show up twice in Alexa, but one set "works" and the other doesn't. After I realized they shared the same back-end platform, I removed the SMART LIFE devices and registered again with a different email address, and the issue in Amazon Alexa went away (no double discovery). However, it had no impact on Alexa being able to control the devices - the FEIT bulbs work fine with Alexa and Google Assistant, the Smart Life switches don't.
