But the large fits my large green egg great. **Q: Will the xl size fit the kamado joe big joe?** A: Yes. I can confirm the X-Large cover does fit the Kamado Joe Big Joe II. I have the Big Joe II (AKA the 2017 model) and this cover fits perfectly. If you have a Big Joe I (the version sold before 2017) I assume it will fit as well since the Big Joe I and II are very nearly the same size. The Big Joe II is slightly larger with the new style hinge, so I could not imagine this cover would not work, if you have the pre-2017 model. If you have a Big Joe III, then you should verify its dimensions. I have no idea if this cover will work for a III model. **Q: Will the xlarge cover fit an xl big green egg with side tables?** A: Yes! I put the side tables down (even leave the cleaners hanging on the hooks underneath) and this cover slips right over the top without a problem.
