I tested it by using my transition eyeglasses and I put this mask on top of it and kept it under the the sun at noon time, when the sun was at its hottest. I left it there for about 30 minutes then checked it. To my surprise, my glasses only darkened a little bit, only about 10% darker. I then removed the mask from covering my glasses and kept it under the sun uncovered for a few more minutes and it completely darkened 100%. After this test, I decided to buy two more, so now I have three pairs, one for driving and one for working in my garden and the third one is a spare when I wash the other two. It's a little costly, but it's worth it. I spend a lot of money to remove and prevent pigmentation on my face and this is a great addition to mineral sunscreen.
