**Q: they are put in oil to make it seem ok when you get it...good luck**
A: Actually I believe it is a liquid, which we use to also add flavor to the dish.

**Q: how old are they when we finally get them??**
A: Not sure I understand the question,  but as long as you follow the instructions given they will last.  I usually don't you mine for 1 to 2 weeks after receipt and they are still wonderful.

**Q: Which Kosher agency certifies your product as kosher?**
A: Certified by KLBD.
I wrote to the company and asked.

**Q: how long can whole truffles in olive oil be kept?**
A: I've never had them more than a couple of weeks before using them and they are usually sealed in the jar so I would think until you break that seal & let air in they should be okay. ???
