Does what it's supposed to. Breaks up the outline of the pistol well. Holds it securely. Kind of have to do a 2 finger and thumb draw so not for speed access. I don't really carry a 22 for self defense. It just makes it easy to shove in my pocket for rambling in the woods in case I need to shoot a tin can. Seems pretty durable.
