Call it Chicago weather or call it pregnancy hormones, make-up won't hide it.So i decided to try a blender for the 2nd time (1st one - the classic kind, i hated!)i saw this and liked that it had a flat side which seems more logical to me than a totally rounded sponge.To cut a long story short, this does such an amazing job of applying my foundation and concealer evenly and smooth, flawless and natural, light and not pasty and does a great job hiding my dry skin bcoz its a lot more gentle to dab and pat with it rather than rubbing as my fingers would. I bought this because it was so cheap and I thought I'd give it a try, and I'm glad I did!! It expands a lot when wet and gives foundation makeup a nice even finish, without wasting a ton of product. So, I'm not quite sure where this product is coming from. Most likely China or India. Anyway... When it arrived a week later I examined the product and the beauty blender was in a clear plastic cylinder maybe 2.5 inches tall and 1.5 inches wide and had two metal discs at each end of the cylinder. From what I could tell there was NO foul or odd smelling oder from coming from the beauty blender and/or it's packaging. It smelled clean to me to me. The beauty blender itself was a normal "large" size beauty blender. It was soft to the touch and blended my make-up quite nicely actually. I didn't like the icky poop brown color of the beauty blender itself but I knew what I was buying when I ordered it. So it's all good. I'm not too worried about that. However, when it came to cleaning it you must be a little gentle with it bc it seemed like it could fall apart if you're not delicate with it. TO ME... When I realized that the beauty blender needed to be handled with care when it came to washing it I just thought to myself that "this beauty blender will probably last me only 3 months... tops!" And this is coming from someone who wears make-up every single day. However, I could see it lasting a lot longer for someone who wears make-up maybe 2 or 3 times a week. So, the question remains would I buy this product again and would I recommended to a friend? I'm giving you my God's honest opinion and for what I paid for it? I mean... Yeah! I guess I would buy it again and probably would recommended to a friend. It does blend my make-up quite nicely actually, but do I believe that its the best beauty blender on the market like some of these "review hacks" claim? Nah... I mean its good and all but its not GREAT! From what I can tell its not like its the worlds best beauty blender out there but its pretty good product and for what I paid for it and how nice it blends overall it does do its job nicely.I hoped my review was clear and informative.
