It's a lightweight bag that can be rolled up and stuffed into a pouch in the top (at that point you can use it as a small uncomfortable pillow). It has about the same capacity as a typical school backpack, but is made of lightweight fabric.There is a large elastic pocket against the back of the main compartment that I might use to put a water pouch. None of the pouches are padded, so I would recommend throwing a laptop in a padded case before packing it in this. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Lightweight Bag for Travel or "Go-Bag" Purposes. *by E***S on January 20, 2019* Bought this to see how practical it would be as an emergency "go bag" or as a travel bag. Its great advantage is that it is well designed overall for comfort and has the right types of compartments and strapping, and most importantly, it is extremely lightweight. I have not actually used it however (hence 4 stars). But I will be using it to build out a go bag. The photo is a little deceiving in that the bag is completely filled out and looks a little larger than it really is. So check the dimensions to get a more accurate sense of its size.
