We had to tie the crotch area together to prevent hip dysplasia and also minimized his time.(15 minutes at a time max). At 4 months old he has a blast in this thing(30-45 minutes without a single tear). Every time he see’s me pull it out he starts giggling:) **Q: We have 10 foot ceilings and a 9 foot door frame. Is this jumper longer enough?** A: Thank you for your interest in our product. The strap can be adjusted. The maximum height is 80.5 inches and the minimum is 69.5 inches. To determine if it would be long enough would depend on the length of the baby's legs. The strap would need to be adjusted to where only the front of the baby's foot would touch the floor. **Q: How much travel does this baby jumper have?** A: If you mean does it move when the baby jumps, it doesn’t. This is a quality product and sturdy too. Your baby will love it. **Q: If anyone had the problem of molding that was too tall, did you find a different jumper that worked?** A: I have tall mouldings, and I never did find a different jumper. Study clamp, seat and bumpers for peace of mind. Tray is nice for small snacks or toys. My 13 month old (who’s not interested in walking) and around 20lb loves this. Only a couple of nuisance that are worth noting. He’s a bit tall and at tallest setting, it’s too low. They offer a solution with pulling a loop of strap up - it works but is difficult to adjust and slips (not making it a dangerous slip, but requires daily adjustment to keep at proper height). Other thing is the sound - the plastic spring rubs back and forth with every jump. It’s a loud clanking sound. Probably not good if you have other children napping.
