I currently have six cards internally, which are cards that I use routinely, and four cards under the plate (driver's license and insurance cards). On the back, under the strap, is where I keep cash. The card release is great and is easy to operate. The cards come up, and it's easy to pick exactly which one you need. When you put it back and push them back into the wallet, they are perfectly secure and won't fall out. My biggest worry, sitting on it, turned out to be nothing. I can't even tell that it is there. This was going to be my "intro" wallet into metal wallets to see if I liked it, and then buy a "better" one if I did. It turns out, this one is fantastic and only a fraction of the price of the big brands. (They don't cost so much because they are so much better, they cost so much because those big brands spend millions of dollars on advertising!)
