My last one was a high-end with all the bells and whistles, which I did like however, I was always in the market for the double paddle machine. The only one I could find was a very high-end and very expensive so when I found this West Bend with a double paddle, I was thrilled. It is lighter and smaller and you still get a decent loaf of bread. The only thing and it could've been the recipe that I noted was that I did have to remove the dough and reshape it to have it come out as a nice loaf. When I did take the dough out to reshape it, it gave me the opportunity to remove the paddles since it was done with the kneading process It performed well. It cleans up easily.
