It’s not a total miss, but for me it lands in the “just okay” category—convenient, but not the most satisfying fragrance experience. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ this is the best looking and strongest reed diffuser set I have used yet- nice *by R***R on December 23, 2024* Growing up in the late nineties and early 2000s I was always looking for way to cover up the residual smoke smells that accumulated in my room from my smoker friends, Thankfully I have never developed a cigarette smoking habit however due to the constant smoke smell preventions attempts during that time period of my life I had sort of unintentionally became an expert on fragrance options. During that time of fragrance alternative experimentation, I had exhausted the incense option. I have always battled with seasonal allergies and used to have asthma. I am aware that health issues such as asthma are agitated by smoke like incense so that method did not last long. I am a fan of the incense option so I still occasionally use that option for a nostalgic experience. In 2025 I understand there are modern and safer ways to bring a scent into your home to help mask things such as pets or in my case a sewer drain that occasionally emits a strange odor. That drain issue seems to be worse in the winter so at least I can gauge how to handle it. I have pets so using a plugin-based oil burner with questionable chemicals that emit into the air is not on my list of acceptable alternatives. When I was a teenager and using incense, I did not have pets of my own, so that is a big deal in relation to both the burning option, which includes the potentially hazardous plug ins. I have known about the reed diffuser option however I have not explored it that much because the first time I tried it I did not use it correctly. I also was dealing with a neighbor in my 4-unit apartment building that was using a plug in option, and it was so string it was leaking into my unit via the vent ducts. Now that this neighbor has calmed down his use of plug ins, I felt confident that I could try out this reed diffuser option again. I am happy I made that choice, because I apparently have selected the right brand and reed set because this 2-pack set from the Carori brand is working perfectly. Often, I hesitate on the rose scent because once it moves around a closed space it can change drastically and end up mimicking bathroom products. This rose scent from the Carori brand is a nice medium powered scent that maintains the proper rose olfactory experience the whole time. After placing one of the diffusers with all of the reeds inserted above a vent, I was able to experience the scent in a perfectly distributed way in relation to the scent particles and how they are released into the surrounding atmosphere. What I like about this set is its a bit fancy in that it has an additional cover that goes over the reeds. That is helpful to contribute to keeping the reeds, once infused with the oil, away from easy contact with your hands. I hope to not have to adjust it now and can keep the lid on through its entire life. The lid has openings all-around it for a even distribution of the scent from all around the diffuser container.
