We live at 5,000' above sea level and we're pretty sure this is the reason. They appear to leak faster when taken up and down from our altitude. Looking for another pen of the same quality that can handle the slight change in pressure. We do love these pens but they don't seem to be well made enough to deal with the pressure. **Q: can i paint over my pigma micron black illustration, to fill in some areas. They already seemed to smear a bit .** A: Hi, I have this set and I just did a bleed test for mine. I work mainly with watercolors. I tested on Strathmore Cold Press 140 lb paper with a wait time of 5 minutes between inking the sample and painting. I had no bleeding at all even with two heavy wet coats of paint. I hope this this helps :) **Q: Can these pens write on plastic? I want to mark pips on minature dice.** A: Microns are designed to write on paper only, although some crafters do use them on other surfaces, based on their personal testing and use. Como pueden ver en el reverso en el empaque, se especifica que es tinta de archivo, lo cual la hace ser a prueba de agua, resistente a químicos, a la decoloración y es libre de pH. Esto es útil para evitar fraudes en archivos, el ser resistente al agua la haría perfecta para usar con acuarelas y por ende la tinta no se corre y mantiene la integridad y finura del trazo. El pH neutro hace que este producto sea perfecto ara cualquier trabajo de arte sobre papel profesional libre de ácido. Su precio es elevado, aunque lo conseguí en oferta, sin embargo si te dedicas a eso vale la pena si es una inversión para los con trabajos artísticos. O si tienes la posibilidad aunque no te dediques a eso, está bien.
