I had 5.3 volts DC input and 123 VAC, well within the operating parameters. . When I momentarily triggered the relay on, the indicator light lit up, the compressor started but on removing the input signal the compressor did not stop. I turned the compressor off at the pressure switch and also at the breaker. Each time I reapplied power the compressor restarted with the DC input disconnected. I had purchased 6 of these β€œrelays” so I changed out the relay, with identical results.
