I buy these envelopes frequently. Today I order the same thing and a smaller size than stated, and flimsy thin construction. If you order the same item you should the the same one. I am really frustrated at the lack of quality and consistency

The way they are sealed on the side, one side is sealed about 1/2" into the envelope so it cuts down what you can fit inside. I tried to put a normal sized magazine (8 1/2 x 11) in one and the width was too short because of the seal. They're more like 8 x 11. To be honest, even the 11 part seemed small, but there was no way I could get my magazine in there to see if I would close. It was way too small and believe me I tried because I really don't want to take this giant box of envelopes to Amazon drop off and wait for another delivery when I'm already short. But now I will have to do that. I do love their paper envelopes, I just ordered more of those. I didn't order those in the first place because they were going to take too long to arrive! Hahaha!

I ship a lot of paper crafts and usually use these type of envelopes for extra protection but the ones I always use were sold out and I needed some ASAP so I purchased these thinking it would almost be the same but no! Very disappointed with these envelopes. First of all they are very flimsy, they do have the bubble wrap on the inside but the outside plastic isn't sturdy enough so I have to place a piece of cardboard box on the inside along with the product so that it doesn't bend which means I pay more on shipping. Second, the items I ship out are in a 8x10 cellophane bags and it doesn't fit well. I have to stretch it out with a ruler first before inserting the cellophane bag. If you ship fragile paper items I do not recommend these envelopes. I will continue to insert a piece of cardboard box inside until I use all 100 of them or until the ones I use go back in stock.
