The strap at the front wraps around under the body and doubles back through the clip to give a real firm fix. The underneath buckle is a little tight when first you thread it through but you only have to do that once and it ensures that the strap strays in place as it is friction held. The bag can be removed at the side buckles so when you have fitted this it is so quick to put on and off. The pockets have very good reflective straps and the zips are good quality.
