That will achieve what you may be striving for and do it safely ...at a bit higher cost. **Q: Can I use this cord for a small window air-conditioner** A: The wire inside is very small and marginal at best. It will probably operate with a lot of heat while the compressor is working full blast. Perhaps an AWG with a LOWER number, which is larger wire, is much wiser to prevent fires.
