He is a varsity football player and has practice 6 days a week. I ordered others trying to help prolong the dexcom use. The others barely lasted 1 practice. My son was running during practice and the other product came loose and his dexcom was flapping in the wind only being held on by the flexible needle. I read the review and decided on this product because it is made and marketed by a T1D family. I am so glad I did. If you are an athlete or even if your not, you NEED this product. We are so thankful we found this product. THANK YOU from a dad of a new T1D athlete! ### ⭐ Adhesive patch not worth the money! *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 25, 2019* I use a Dexcom G6 and get showers not tub baths thinking it would be better to not have the adhesive submerged in water for a length of time. BUT NO, I don't think it matters, I apply the adhesive patch, wait hours before getting it wet, but after 1 shower and avoiding taking the soapy cloth over the patch it still starts to peel away! I am completely disappointed with the product. Even the edges where you need to touch it to apply don't adhere once you have just barely touched it. I had no lotion or oil on my hands nor my skin. I would not waste my money on this product nor recommend it for purchase. Also the Dexcom stays attached for 10 days at a time but the patches only last a few days at most, then need replaced, so while becoming looser n looser as you shower, that could then cause you to accidentally pull the Dexcom off before your 10 days are up, especially when trying to replace a patch. That's bad because insurances aren't going to replace them early! DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, save your money!! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Okay patches but not for me *by A***E on Reviewed in the United States on October 2, 2019* These were bought to go over my pump infusion spot and if I needed extra backing for my continuous glucose sensor. The hole in this patch is too long to use for my infusion sets. The width would work but I would have to go over my spot twice to get good coverage. I buy extra patches because I am rough on my pump and it ends up dropping or sliding off my belt and it ends up pulling my site out if I don't keep something stronger on it.
