The bigger the pellets, the better.** A: The pellets are small but not hatchling size. They are not big and round like the regular zoo med turtle food either...someone in the middle. However, my musk turtle is an adult size and eats them just fine. I would buy again. **Q: Does this product provide enough calcium for a red eared sliders diet** A: I use this product and I also use calcium powder but my turtle has not had any problems with just the food alone. Lasts a good amount of time also.
