I had read Silent Stalker, Vampire, Fatal Secrets, and a few others before I picked up this book. These books were by far a few of her best, in my opinion and I was very anxious when I did bought this book. I couldn't wait to start it, but as I finished the book in a few hours, I wasn't completely satisfied...Although the book in general was fine, the ending took me by complete surprise. Not because it was shocking and well thought out, but because it was so blatantly obvious and predictable -_-; I had suspected this character from the beginning and I was hoping that there would be some sort of twist because it seemed so obvious from the start of the events. I tried to convince myself that the ending would turn out as good as the rest of her books, but I was disappointed that everything that I had predicted actually happened.Anyway, this is an okay book if you're reading one of Richie Tankersley Cusick's books for the first time, BUT if you're a devoted fan of her books, then you should avoid this book if you don't want to be disappointed. Although this book isn't her best, don't think that all of her books aren't good because many of her other books, such as Teacher's Pet, Vampire, Silent Stalker, Fatal Secrets, and The Mall are wonderful and have great plots and twist endings! ^_^ ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing..... *by T***T on Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2002* When Miranda gets the call from "On The Edge" magazine telling her that she's won a contest to stay at movie star Byron Slater's California house and get the chance to star in his next movie, she's thrilled. Byron Slater is the hottest topic of teen action-romances, and to be able to spend the week in his house is unbelievable! As soon as she arrives, she senses that Byron has taking a liking to her and he starts confiding in her. He tells her that he thinks that someone might be stalking him and he feels in danger. Then, the sickening "accidents" start. Or are they accidents at all?.....I thought this book was great! Richie Tankersley Cusick weaved suspense and romance throughout the book just right. I'll probably end up agreeing with the other reviewers in saying that this wasn't the author's best. This was the first book I read by her, and, standing alone, it seems terrific. But, compared to her other books, it might not seem as good. I'll admit, though, that while the book was suspenseful, it was a little predictable and the killer was, too. Other than that, I loved it!
