The Garnier line had never let me down. With 3 females with long hair in the house, I find their product line to be a good price and a good value. We love to use the shampoos (nice scents for all of them, generally somewhat fruity and not too strong smelling) and the conditioners (seem very rich). I find that I can comb through my daughters long knotted hair with ease when I use the Garnier conditioners. She is in the tub, and I comb through the knots when the conditioner is in her hair, then we rinse it out.
