Now that would hurt. Just a joke. No, don't worry about electricity. **Q: How long do they stay cool?** A: They give an immediate cooling sensation but I wouldn’t say it’s long lasting. Also if you refrigerate the container that’s pretty great for a cooling sensation. You certainly get a stronger relief that way but again the container won’t stay very cool outside of the fridge for more than a couple of hours. **Q: Can I use these with regular pads?** A: These are a pad wet with Witch Hazel to clean the hemorrhoids. You may need more than one to clean away the bacteria and bodily matter.
