I would say they would come loose with diving. We use them with a headband. They are super easy to use and comfortable, they stay in well with a headband over them. They fill up the outer part of the ear to seal it off, they don't really go in like a traditional ear plug. **Q: Why aren't these fsa eligible when my child's ent is who told me to get them?** A: These actually broke pieces off in my daughter’s ear. Leading to surgery to remove them.
