I bought them to replace my well-worn New Balance walking shoes -- they look very similar, and were getting good reviews. They don't seem to have quite as much support as my old-old New Balance shoes (my newer New Balance shoes, also well worn at this point, seem to suffer from the same problem ... not as comfortable, not as much support). Will give them 4 stars for now, will update once I have more experience with them. One good feature, so far, is they haven't developed the peculiar pungent odor that my New Balance shoes have developed.
