This product can be used as a standalone spray but when used in combo with their ceramic coating its a knock out system. When applying this product i recommend using the two towel method. After washing your car make sure surface is completely dry, mist a couple sprays on a cool dry panel and wipe on with one towel and buff completely dry with second towel especially when used on dark colored paint. Not very friendly in direct sunlight. Really provides a deep gloss and slick feeling surface.
