I was going to purchase a cheaper one but then looking at some of those after a couple of months I spend just a little bit extra and bought this one. It is very firm and I have sat on it and it didn't give at all. The first thing that I foam rolled was my quads and oh my god did it hurt so bad.. After a couple of day it was tolerable. Now I foam roll about every 2 or 3 days but I guess I'm not as tense as I used to be because now it feels good!! I was also considering buying a shorter one because I live in a small apartment but I just wrap it up in my yoga mat. The longer one is better because they're are a couple of foam rolling techniques that you wouldn't be able to do with the shorter one. And there are some workouts too that I found on Pinterest or YouTube. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ... roller for a couple of months now and I love it! It's my first one, so I can't really compare how well this works to any other foam roller out there. All I know is that it works really well for me. It definitely requires some upper body strength since you have to balance yourself while using it. At first it was really painful to foam roll. For example, I could hardly put any pressure on my calf when I was foam rolling it. The pain/discomfort was barely tolerable. But after a couple of sessions, it got a lot easier.
