The look of a boot in the comfort of a skate shoe. They are great and fit perfect and match my Italian leather belt. They're not too heavy they're nice and beefy and I love the color. The first day of wearing it may feel a bit narrow at the toe area where the laces attach in some attachment around the base of the tongue but after the first day of wearing them it feels like it looses up and becomes much more comfortable. I love how the shoes feel and the colors. I swapped out the black laces (Which are really really long) for some shorter black and white laces that look pretty rad with these shoes. I think GLOBE runs a bit smaller than a few of the other skate shoes brand, (in which I got an 8 in their shoes before and always felt the tip of the shoe was too narrow), so I got half size better which fit like I expected it to fit. Perhaps its not that its the shoe is smaller than others its just the tip so I wanted a bit more space for toes up there. I have always bought globe brand shoes, they are always so expensive, $125, $90 at least, got these on Amazon for $40!!
