The fabric has not shown any signs of tearing or fraying and is still securely in place inside my phone case. The metal ring is also good quality. There is a tiny gap in the ring that briefly caused it to get stuck on the edge of the tab when it had rotated within its hem pocket, but I simply rotated it back in place, and it has never shifted beyond that one time. The gap is not big enough to slide over the fabric and come off, it has simply caught slightly on the edge. The ring has not bent or come loose at all, so the metal is solid.
