I would get heavier duty e track anchor rings than these. Our 36 inch gravely zero turn actually bent one of the rings when the mower shifted during transport. Get better quality heavy duty anchors since you may be hauling heavy loads. **Q: How big is the ring?** A: I’m not in front of them but roughly about 2 inches **Q: Want to weld to trailer frame for max strength. Are these weldable?** A: I don’t know that I would use this particular e track unless you must have track this narrow. I would use an e track slot that has more material and surface area to weld to. Something equivalent to “10PACKANLU LOAD E Track Single Slot,E Track Single Slot Tie Down Anchor” which is also listed on Amazon. As far as weldability… this product is mild steel as I expect your trailer frame is. I’d use a galvanized or passivated part rather than something painted. **Q: i have e track mounted on floor, so the pull would be from side (not length wise) will this hold atv like that?** A: I consider these Eapele o-ring tie down clamp things to be rather light duty and sloppy in the e track. I bought some powertye heavy duty o-ring things that I would trust to keep a heavy and bouncy load like an ATV in place.
